Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is the national-level management aptitude test, Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), will be conducted on Sunday, January 6, 2019 by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) for the admission to post graduate management programmes at over 150 B-schools across India.
It is a computer-based test consisting of both objective and subjective type questions held in the first week of January every year.
XAT 2019 Eligibility
- Completed Minimum 3 Years Bachelorâ€™s Degree or in the Final Year of Bachelorâ€™s Degree
- No Age Restriction
- Valid Mail ID throughout the process

XAT APPLICATION DETAILS
- Application Process will be able to register for the exam on the official website of XAT.
- Candidates would need to enter their basic information like name and contact details.
- Then, they will receive the login credentials through which they have to log in to the website and complete the XAT 2019 application.
- To complete the application process, candidates would need to enter the personal details, academic details, and professional details.
- Upload recent passport size photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format, not exceeding 60 KB Â andÂ notÂ lessÂ thanÂ 10kb.
- Upload signature in .jpg or .jpeg format, not exceeding 30 KB Â andÂ notÂ lessÂ thanÂ 5kb.
- A valid Credit / Debit card in case you want to pay ONLINE.

XAT â€“ Xavier Aptitude Test 2019 will be held on Sunday, January 2019 as online exam. XAT 2019 is the MBA entrance exam for admission to XLRI, SPJIMR, IMT, BIMTECH, TAPMI, XIMB among other 150 MBA colleges across the country for the MBA admission 2019. XAT 2019 will be conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur as an online computer based test. XLRI has been convening Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) for more than 60 years.

The xat 2019 question paper will consist of the following sections:

XAT 2019 will be a computer-based test (online) of 215 minutes duration. The exam will be divided into two parts â€“ Part I which will carry objective-type questions and Part II with a combination of objective and subjective questions. The official exam pattern for XAT 2019 hasnâ€™t released yet. Based on last yearâ€™s pattern, the following table explains the most probable exam pattern of XAT 2019
Note - There will be a break of 5 minutes between Part I and Part II.
Marking Scheme - Each question will carry 1 mark and for each wrong answer, 1/4th of the total marks allotted to a question will be deducted. There is negative marking of 0.05 marks also involved for unattempted questions as well, beyond 8.
XLRI doesnâ€™t release any specific syllabus for XAT. However, experts suggest a list of topics for the exam based on the previous yearsâ€™ pattern.

XAT Admit Card 2019
XAT 2019 admit cards will be available for download on the official website of XAT. The date for downloading XAT 2019 admit card will be announced along with the XAT 2019 exam date.
Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website by using their login IDs. Also, the candidates must take a print out of the admit card, as hard copy.
Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall. Any candidates found without the admit card will not be allowed to take the test. Thus, the candidates must keep their admit cards safe.
To download the admit card, a candidate needs to follow the below mentioned steps:

- Click on the â€˜Download admit cardâ€™ tab
- Enter details like XAT ID, password and enter submit
- Download the admit card
- Take a print out of the admit card
The admit card will carry following details.
The candidates must check the information printed on the admit card and incase of any error, must immediately contact the exam conducting body to get it rectified or obtain a duplicate card.
Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the examination hall and must be presented for inspection by the invigilator. Candidates not carrying their admit cards will be barred from writing the test. The candidates are advised to carry a secondary ID proof.
Gadgets like mobile phone, calculator, iPad etc are not allowed inside the premises of the test centres, hence the candidates are advised to not carry any of these. The candidates must also keep their admit cards safe until the end of admission process.
XAT 2019 Exam Centers
XAT 2019 will be conducted in various cities across India. The two overseas exam venues are Dubai and Kathmandu.

It is to be noted that any of the above test centers may be cancelled, combined or changed depending on the number of candidates in specific centers or new centers year after year.
XAT Application & Registration Form 2019
XAT 2019 registrations will take place in online mode from August 2018 to November 2018. You can apply to appear in the exam till December end with payment of late fees.
Visit xatonline.in choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional XAT ID and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional XAT ID and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional XAT ID number and Password will also be sent.
In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing "SAVE AND NEXT" tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the "SAVE AND NEXT" facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and Verify / get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.
Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature.
The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01.jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon. Candidates using MS Windows/MS Office can easily obtain photo and signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50KB & 20KB respectively by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50KB (photograph) & 20KB (signature) by using crop and then resize option
Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form
Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
Modify details, if required, and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
Click on 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
Click on 'Submit' button.
