Preparations for the 68th Annual Convocation of the University of Punjab University, Gymnasium Hall on April 28, are on Zoro. In this program, the Vice President of the country and PU Chancellor M. Venkaiah Naidu will attend the Chief Guest. Governor of Punjab and UT Administration VP Singh Badnour and Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narayan will be included as special guests. Apart from this, the Senate, the members of syndicate and the dean of all faculty will also be included in the program.
PhD degrees
of different Faculty will be distributed to 438 students in Ph.D. degree convocation for 438 students. Of which 142 are male and 296 are women. PU’s Controller of Examination Pro. Parvinder Singh said that along with 256 University Medal and 95 Indovament Medals, students will be awarded cash prize, diploma and certificate awards on this occasion. On this occasion, Dr. Sudha Murthy, trustee of the Infosys Foundation, will be honored with the Honorary degree and the Indian Space Reichers Organization (ISRO) Chairman Dr. K. Sivan will receive the Science Ratna Award.
Entry to Parents After Lunch in Convocation
Punjab University is preparing for the 68th Convocation. An invitation has been sent to the students receiving the degree. This time parents will be allowed to come after lunch. PU Registrar Prof. Karamjit Singh says that this time the number of students receiving the degree is high. Despite this, parents will be allowed this year like every year, but after lunch it will be allowed. Pro. According to Karamjeet Singh, much changes have not been made in the rules, but some changes will be made to maintain the system.
Schedule will be
be mandatory to arrive at PY’s Gymnasium Hall at 9.30 in the morning on April 28 to join the scheduled program. Everyone has to sit at 9.45 seats. Everyone has been advised that everyone should sit in their seats 45 minutes before the program starts. For this program, students will be dress rehearsal on April 27.
