The\nadmission session in universities has started. Due to COVID-19 all universities\nhas extended the admission process for in undergraduate and post graduate\ncourses for academic session 2020. Delhi University announced the first cut off\nfor admission in undergraduate courses and in single day all admission got fill.\nThere are 563000 aspirants have applied for UG courses in Delhi University for\nadmission in academic session 2020 that is highest in last 3 years. The process\nis full online and 285128 application received from CBSE board students back\nground that is maximum and 12272 from Haryana boars and 11,521 from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations and rest applications from different state and other boards. The\nhighest 142526 applications received from Delhi and 66657 application received\nfrom Uttar Pradesh and 50701 applications received from Haryana and rest\napplications from other states. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhi University announced first cut off for admission in\nundergraduate courses in 10th<\/sup> October 2020. The admission started date\nfor merit based between 12th<\/sup> to 14th<\/sup> October 2020 and the\npayment date for first merit list admission is 16th<\/sup> October 2020.\nAll the process doing online due to covid-19 pandemic. Delhi\nUniversity’s undergraduate admission of first cut-off list ended at 5 pm on the\nsame day 14th<\/sup> October 2020. The Delhi University undergraduate\nadmission first cut-off list has been closed on Wednesday with the varsity\napproving 37.14 per cent of over 59,000 applications. Delhi University official\nsaid that this was the first time that the entire admission process was online\ndue to the current COVID-19 pandemic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As reported by\nthe PTI and the data shared by the varsity, out of 59,730 applications, it has\nso far approved 22,186 applications, while 11,248 aspirants have paid the fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second\ncut-off is likely to be announced on Saturday that will be 17th<\/sup>\nOctober 2020, on the basis of which admissions will begin on Monday 19th<\/sup>\nOctober 2020. Most top colleges are likely to have a majority of their courses\nopen in the second round of admissions, but with only a marginal dip in\ncut-offs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
