JEE Main started in 2002 for the purpose of admission to\nundergraduate engineering and architecture courses in all 31 National Institute\nof Technology (NITs), 25 Indian Institute of Information Technology ( IIITs)\nsome government  funding colleges in\nIndia also serve as premium selection for JEE Advance for admission in all 23Indian\nInstitute of Technology  (IITs) in India.\nJEE Main conducted by National Testing agency that is NTA twice in a year in\nthe month of January and April every year. There are two papers, Paper-1 and\nPaper-2. In paper-1 the subject involve in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and\npaper-2 the subjects are Mathematics, Aptitude, Drawing and Planning. Earlier\nit was both online and offline but now have only online based test with 3 hours\nof exam duration. Candidates can give maximum three attempts in successive year.\nThe score is 60 to 300+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier\nJEE Main <\/strong>the exam is offered in English, Hindi and\nGujarati, b<\/strong>ut the education\nminister of India announced through his official social media twitter account the\nexam will conduct more regional language<\/strong> from January 2021, it will be offered in\neleven more regional languages, namely Assamese,\nBengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Odiya, Tamil, Urdu and\nTelgu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn line with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, the\nJoint Admission Board (JAB) of JEE (Main) has decided to conduct the\nexamination in more regional languages of India,\u201d tweeted Ramesh Pokhriyal,\nMinister of Education.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state Engineering Colleges are decided the admission will\nbe based on an examination conducted in regional languages because JEE Main\nalso conducting examination in regional languages  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis decision has far-reaching implications as Prime Minister Narendra\nModi has pointed out that top-scoring countries in the Programme for\nInternational Student Assessment (PISA) examination use mother tongue as a\nmedium of instruction. The decision of JAB will help students comprehend\nquestions better and score higher,\u201d said Pokhriyal in the tweet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There some candidates missed their JEE Advance examination\ndue to COVID-19 and they went to supreme court to conduct the examination again\nfor those students who have missed the examination but supreme court of India\ndenied the request on 28\/10\/2020. Joint Admission Board (JAB) is the authority and\nhaving power to frame the policies, rules and regulations of JEE exam under the\nguidance of IIT council has considered the relaxation of the eligibility\ncriteria and decided to permit an extra attempt for those candidates who were\nunable to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020 on account of being Covid-19 positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JAB said that every students should get equal opportunity <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTo ensure equal opportunity to all, the JAB has also decided that these\ncandidates will not qualify JEE (Main) 2021 and will be allowed to directly\nappear in JEE (Advanced) 2021\u201d, said the statement.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total number of candidates they missed the JEE advance\nexamination in 2020 due to COVID-19 they are eligible for appear the\nexamination of JEE Advance 2021 but the candidates will decide either they will\nappear or not but Joint Admission Board had announced that candidates are\neligible and giving equal opportunity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
