Krea University Launch; 320 hours online one-year Diploma program<\/strong> Advanced Finance and Analytics (DAFA) ;<\/strong> Krea University announced the launch of its online courses, one-year Diploma Program in Advanced Finance and Analytics (DAFA) for Working Professionals in collaboration with Northeastern University, USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 320-hour program will be delivered by academics and\npractitioners from around the world using multi-modal and interactive learning\nmethods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program enables professionals from a wide range of roles\nin finance, consulting and technology to visualize and build models using analytical\ntechniques, to evaluate analytical models and tools for decision-making,\nsophisticated risk and pricing models for financial engineering and\nquantitative risk management. Focused on validation understand fintech\ndisruption across so many industries and apply fintech tools and models to\nsolve real-world business challenges of the industries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis unique collaboration is driven by our combined\nemphasis on experiential learning pedagogies and long traditions of deep\nresearch in finance and economics, as well as engagement with the corporate\nworld,\u201d said Dr Emery Trahan, Interim Dean and Professor of Finance at\nD\u2019Amore-McKim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNext-generation financial services driven by digital\ntechnologies are disrupting the global financial landscape. The DAFA program\njointly curated by leading academicians and practitioners will help shape a\ngeneration of professionals and address the acute skill gap globally. It will\nalso help a large canvas of stakeholders\u2014including governments, corporations,\nand individuals\u2014address some of the most compelling issues in finance spanning\ninclusion, security, risk management, governance, and trust,\u201d said Mr Ramkumar\nRamamoorthy, Pro-Vice Chancellor \u2013 Professional Learning at Krea\nUniversity.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AHA recognised for award Dr. Mahesh Dear VC University<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AHA that is American Historical Association has recognised\nDr. Mahesh Rangarajan, Professor of History and Environmental Studies and Vice\nChancellor, Krea University, as Honorary Foreign Member who is distinguished in\nhis\/her field and who has \u2018notably aided the work of American historians\u2019 for\nthe year 2021. The award will be given at the American Historical Association\n(AHA) 135th annual meeting in New Orleans between January 6 to January 9, 2022.\nDr. Rangarajan is only the fourth Indian who has chosen for this prestigious\naward; the others being this awards Sir Jadunath Sarkar, Prof. Romila Thapar\nand Prof. Ramachandra Guha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
