Delhi University Anti-Ragging Guidelines; <\/strong>The the anti-ragging guidelines state that heads of institutions may identify a Correctional Resource Person (DRP) in each council, hotel, hall, department and their contact details should participate with the proctor’s office.
The Delhi University on Thursday issued guidelines against ragging and directed them to keep a sealed complaint box in front of the star’s office and constitute alert outfits in sodalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colleges will organize exposure days to introduce new scholars to their separate sodalities and departments. Miranda House will conduct its exposure on November 20 through online mode and scholars will also be given a virtual stint of the council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Delhi University Anti-Ragging Guidelines; <\/strong> Shri Ram College of Commerce, Indraprastha College for Women, Gargi College and Ramanujan College will organize their exposure day on November 22. Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Lores will hold its convocation on November 20.
The departments will also organize their own separate exposure programs for freshers. Exposure programs will be conducted in online mode and classes will also be conducted in virtual mode.

Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cThe institutions may erect suitable hoardings\/billboards\/banners in prominent places within the respective campus to exhort the students to prevent or not to indulge in ragging\u2026 Along with the DRP, senior teachers, NCC\/NSS officers, if any, and senior students may be involved to form a Disciplinary Resource Committee (DRC)\/Disciplinary Committee at the college\/faculty\/department level,\u201d the guidelines.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSealed complaint boxes be placed in front of the Principal\u2019s Office, especially in those undergraduate colleges which have hostels, for the benefit of the potential victims of ragging to enable them to put their complaints\/suggestions to College authorities. Officials in each college on whom the responsibility has been entrusted will look into those complaints and take prompt necessary action, as per University norms,\u201d the guidelines said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alert Outfits and DRC\/ DC should work in perfect collaboration as eventually action in respect of any incident of indiscipline involving any pupil or group of scholars will be recommended by the DRC\/ DC and also the Head of the Institution concerned. Will initiate correctional action., it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cEach student is expected to carry his\/her own identity card. Entry to the institution should be strictly governed on the verification of the identity cards carried by students. To enforce such regulated entry, Security Guards and other associated staff may be engaged.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSuch security staff along with the vigilance squads may organise, from time to time, some surprise raids on the premises of cafeteria\/canteen\/hostels\/student union rooms\/general common rooms\/parking lots etc,\u201d the guidelines said.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also suggested introducing an individual tutor\/ tutor in sodalities and departments and adding a specific faculty member to all the new entrants, either collectively or inclusively, in a group, which is demanded to remove any emotional problems that may arise as a result of the adaptation.
