CUCET 2022 Exam Dates; Central Universities Common Entrance Test, popularly known as CUCET, is an all India admission entrance examination being conducted for admission to various integrated, undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in several central and state universities in India. Central University of Rajasthan was conducted/co-ordinated the CUCET exam from 2010 to 2022. The National Testing Agency known as NTA took over the conduct of these examinations in 2021.
History of CUCET
CUCET was organized for the first time since 2010 for admission to 7 central universities. There were 1,500 different seats that were 41 undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated courses. The application form was filled through CUCET-2010, which was conducted on 19th and 20th June 2010 in about 30 examination centres spread across the country.
What is CUCET?
Central University Common Entrance Test or CUCET is an entrance test conducted to gain admission in any of the central universities across India. The exam will be conducted in offline format for the session 2022-2023. There are expectations that it will be conducted twice a year in online format by NTA. The exam is likely to be held in the fourth week of May, and the result will probably be announced in June. Candidates have to concentrate on only two parts- A and B, which consists of objective type questions only. The syllabus of UG consists of diverse subjects. There are limited seats for UG courses, but a lot of scope for the candidates.
The exam gives a chance to the students to test their skills on subjects like General Aptitude, English, Reasoning etc. To top the merit list in CUCET results one has to prepare appropriately.
Why CUCET is Important?
CUCET 2022 exam date is one of the most prestigious entrance exams in the country, which has many possibilities after getting admission in the preferred UG course. The courses offered at the undergraduate level under central universities differ from BBA to BA or BCom. The student has to select the program in which he wants to make his career. The central government controls the central universities; So the chances of getting an education from these universities are huge. The placement opportunities are also tremendous with any of the chosen central universities and can get good packages if the candidates decide to work after graduation.

CUCET eligibility
A total of 14 universities participated under CUCET 2021. Each university has different eligibility criteria for the candidates. There is no any official notification about CUCET 2022, but University of Delhi also take admission on the basis of CUCET scores. There are mainly 3 types of courses admission exams offered by CUCET 2022. Candidates can apply for Integrated UG, Integrated PG and Research programmes. It is advised that students before applying for CUCET 2022 go through the specific CUCET 2022 eligibility criteria of each individual university for their respective courses.

Qualification
UG Syllabus:
Candidates applying for UG programs must have passed class 10 and class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
PG Courses:
Candidates applying for PG programs must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant course.
PhD Courses:
Candidates applying for M.Phil/Ph.D programs must have a Master’s degree from a recognized board.
CUCET Application
Candidates can obtain CUCET 2022 Application Form through online mode. The application form can be filled tentatively up to the second week of April 2022.
Fill all the mandatory details like personal, academic, communication and many more in the application.
Upload the scanned images of the latest photograph and signature.
Pay the application fee in online or offline mode.
Candidates should take a printout of the filled application form and keep it safe for future references
CUCET Exam Pattern
CUCET 2022 Exam date Pattern details are given below:
Question Type: MCQ (Multiple choice questions) asking in the exam.
Duration: 2 hours will be the duration of the exam.
Exam Mode : Offline Mode.
Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Pattern: The exam will be conducted in OMR pattern.
Part: The exam will be conducted in two parts, i.e. Part A and Part B.
Part-A: It covers topics from English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical Skills.
Part-B: This part is divided into three sections and consists of a total of 75 MCQs from Domain Knowledge.
