Jamia Millia Islamia University, launches four new courses, get jobs in just one month

Jamia Millia Islamia has presented four new courses under the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) on Thursday. These courses will be run by the Varsity Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Explain that they have been started in collaboration with the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The names of these courses are as follows:

  1. Sales & Marketing
  2. Grooming of factory operation or assembly line or packaging
  3. CNC (Computer-Controlled Machine) Basic Training
  4. CNC (Computer-Controlled Machine) Advance Training.

The Center is already running Entrepreneurship Development Program on PET Bottle Manufacturing and Drinking Water Packaging, Bakery Products, Spice Grinding and Packaging, Paper Cup or Glass or Plates Manufacturing and Sewing and Embroidery Training. These courses are being run under ‘Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) Center’ under ‘Scheme for Promotion Innovation’. The purpose of these programs is to create self-employment between the aspirations of start-up entrepreneurs. 

For admission to Sales & Marketing, Gruning of Factory Operation or Assembly line or packaging and CNC ie Computer Controlled Machine Courses, the minimum qualification has been set to Class 12. Note, Sales & Marketing, Grooming of Factory Operation or Assembly Line or Packaging Course is only one month, whereas CNC (Computer-Controlled Machine) Advance Training is of two months.

The University has said that successful candidates will be given jobs after completion of the course. The last date for submission of application form is July 31.
