NTA also confirms that JEE Main Exam postpone due to Coronavirus

JEE Main Exam postpones due to Covid 19 and the new exam date will be announced after 31st march 2020. JEE Main was scheduled to be held in April month but now Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has ordered to rescheduled the JEE Main Exam, according to the release issued by the ministry, the new exam dates will be announced on 31 March.

Due to JEE Main Exam examinees have to travel in different cities and the rescheduled dates of CBSE board and also other board exam dates may clash with previous JEE Main Exam dates, therefore, JEE Main rescheduled the exam dates. The new dates will be announced on 31st March after the position is reevaluated.

The new date will be fixed according to the board exam schedule and other competitive examinations so that there is no conflict,” a senior official of the news agency PTI told.

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main Exam. The new dates of the exam will be announced by NTA on the official website of JEE Main. The registered candidates of JEE Main should wait for the official announcement of new dates. The ministry of India has also ordered the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and universities to postpone their ongoing exams and re-issue them after 31 March.

Due to Coronavirus the Ministry of India also announced that the educational institutes Of India are closed till the 31st March.

The Ministry of India also told that although the maintenance of academic calendar and examination schedule is important, it is also important that the safety and security of students appearing in various examinations and also their teachers and parents.
