Supreme Court of India said on Monday that the Joint Entrance Exam (#JEE) Main and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (#NEET) will held on given schedule by National Testing Agency (#NTA) on between 1 September to 6 September 2020 of #JEE Main examination and 13 September 2020 of #NEET Examination.

There are some student 11 students belongs to 11 different state had file PIL in Supreme Court for extension of #JEE Main and #NEET examination on the basis of examination notice by NTA on July 3, 2020. They had requested that the examination should postpone till the COVID-19 crisis get normal. The petition filed through Alakh Alok srivastava advocate in Supreme Court, he told #SC that most of the parents are worried about the their ward safety and in this situation they are facing financial crises also.
The solicitor general #TusharMehta represented #NTA in SC and assured that the necessary precaution will be take care by authority in examination center for safety of candidates in view of #COVID-19 pandemic.
The apex court bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra said in his order “Career of students cannot be put under jeopardy for long.”
Justice Mishra said “Life cannot be stopped. We have to move ahead with all safeguards and all…. Education should be opened up. COVID may continue for a year more. Are you going to wait another year? Do you know what is the loss to the country and peril to the students”.
