UPPCS Direct Recruitment; Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is the approved state organization to conduct the Civil Services Examination for the entry-level system for various civil services of Uttar Pradesh. The charter of the organization is permitted by the Constitution of India. Articles 315 to 323 of Part XIV of the Constitution, titled Services under the Union and the States, accommodate a Public Service Commission for the Union and each State.

The preliminary stage is followed by the main exam, where candidates write four papers of GS, Essay and Hindi apart from their optional subject.
