CBSE Board exam Postponed and cancel

The Central Board of Secondary Education has cancelled the Board Exam of Class 10th and has postponed the Exam of Class 12th. The CBSE said after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the officials from the Education Ministry.

The result of the class 10th Board exam will be announced on the basis of objective criteria to be developed by the Board. If any students will be not satisfied mark given to him/her on that basis they will be given the option to give the exam as to when the situation will conductive to conduct the exam, the ministry has said in the press release.

And for the Class 12th Board Exam, the government will review the situation on June 1 to decide the new dates of the CBSE board exam and will make announcements at least 2 weeks before the exam starts. Earlier the exam was announced to start on 4 May 2021.

Education Ministry has said that for class 12th Board Exam online exam is not an option. The government said that it’s not possible to conduct an online exam in this short exam and how will the students familiar with the pattern.

On Tuesday Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the Central Board of Secondary Education to cancel the board exams because of the increasing number of cases in India. Maharashtra government has already cancelled their board exams, and now CBSE also announced it.
