Due to Covid-19 increasing cases in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has said about 13,500 new covid cases in past 24 hours in the Capital City till date. Now because of the Covid-19 not slowdown cases Arvind Kejriwal has appelaed to the Central Board of Secondary Education to Cancel the Board Exam of Class 10th and 12th.
This year around 6 lakhs students will write their exam and 1 lakhs teachers will involve in the exam. It will be possible that the exam center can become a hotspot of Covid-19. And the health of children is very important to write their Board exam, So Kejriwal has appealed the Central Board of Secondary Examination to cancel their Board Exams. Some of our indian state also has postponed their board exams, And many other country has already cancel Board Exam.
The Board Exam are schedule to being from 4 May 2021 source of Indian Express says it that they have got this news from the Education Ministry, but the schedule can be change anything.
The chief minister say the number of cases among those under the age of 45 was higher, they comprised 65% of the case load over the past 10-15 days.
“I appeal to the youth to stay at home if they can. You are very important to us as well as your families. Your health and your safety is important to us, you are our future. I understand that you are responsible for your families; you have to go out and work. My appeal is that you go out only if necessary, and when you do, follow all Covid related protocols and precautions,” he said.
Kejriwal also appealed for to get vaccinated over the age of 45 year old people, and said that the vaccine is free in the government hospitals and many hospital are open at night also. Now because of covid-19 government is also turning banquet hall and private hospitals into covid center because of descending beds in Delhi. Government is requesting people to stay at home if there is no emergency to go out, Be safe and Keep other Safe.
