CMAT Selection Procedure
NTA, the national testing agency, won’t be involved in the CMAT selection procedure. The participating institutes will use a variety of selection criteria, such as a shortlist of applicants based on CMAT performance as well as WAT/GD/PI, etc. Therefore, candidates for the CMAT are recommended to inquire about the CMAT admissions process of the specific institute they wish to apply to.
For admission to MBA programmes at participating institutes, the CMAT is a nationwide entrance exam. Three rounds of the Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview will make up the bulk of the CMAT selection process. The CMAT selection process may differ from one institute to another. The CMAT score will not be used in the admissions process moving forward.
