CUET Score required; Under the Ministry of Education, the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) – 2023) is implemented for admission into all UG Programs in all Central Universities for the academic session 2023–2024. The Common University Entrance Exam (CUET) will give applicants nationwide, especially those from rural and other remote places, a uniform platform and equitable possibilities, and it will also improve connections with universities. The Candidates would be able to participate in the admissions process for numerous Central Universities by taking just one exam.

Moreover, the institution has opened its website for admissions for the academic year 2023–2024 (admission.uod.ac.in).

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has published its admissions academic brochure for the years 2023–2024. Students who want to enroll in the university’s numerous undergraduate programmes will depart to take the Common University Admission Test (CUET).
“Admissions to undergraduate and certificate of proficiency programmes (CoP) in JNU for the academic session 2023–24 will be held through CUET being conducted by National Testing Agency,” the university stated in a notification.
The university recommended students review the qualifying requirements for its various programmes even though they must register for CUET via the NTA portal.
According to the university, applicants for undergraduate and graduate programmes will also be eligible to get deprivation points. Depending on where they received their final diploma, candidates can receive up to 12 deprivation points.
Using four criteria, including the percentage of female illiteracy, agricultural workers, rural population, and the number of houses without toilets on the premises, the list of districts in each state that fall into quartiles 1 and 2 is created. The points are given following the quartile a candidate falls under, an official explained.
Although the institution stated last year that discussions to reinstate deprivation points for Ph.D. programmes were ongoing, nothing has been done as of yet. Meanwhile, group discussions and interviews will be given more weight than the CAT score for MBA admissions, which will weigh 70%.
