As per the official announcement of the WBJEE, the result of WBJEE 2020 will be disclosed online after the lockdown ends. WBJEE has postponed the result due to the COVID-19 attack in India but they inform their candidates that the result will announce right after the lockdown ends here in India. The candidates who are waiting for the result of WBJEE 2020 can expect the result by mid of April or a week after that. According to sources, the result will be announced latest by the end of this month. The exam was held on February 2, 2020, and the candidates are expected to get the results soon after the lockdown. This year, around 1.1 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.

The exam pattern this year was similar to JEE Main. There were two questions that were printed incorrectly in the examination paper. One of the sets of trigonometry question papers was reportedly incorrect. Students have given this information after trying the paper. The first time in the history of WBJEE the exam was organized before the Higher Secondary or Higher Secondary Examination of the students that are truly happening for the first time. The examination was divided into two shifts and in both shifts around 1.1 lakh candidates participated in this year whose answer key was released on February 9, 2020.

This year 2020 everything has postponed due to COVID-19 including the board exams and JEE exam results, due to the lockdown. The lockdown is imposed nationally.
