JEE Main Exam; The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), now known as the Ministry of Education, Government of India (GoI), has set up National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustaining premier testing organization under Societies Registration. is of. Act 1860 to conduct efficient, transparent, and international standard tests for assessing the eligibility of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

The Department of Higher Education and Ministry of Human Resource Development (now known as Ministry of Education), Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting entrance exam that is Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) to NTA from 2019.

Details About JEE Main

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) consists of 2 papers. Paper first and paper second, Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (BE/B.Tech) in NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), Institutes/Universities funded/recognized by the participating State Governments There is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs institutions.

JEE (Main) is being conducted in multiple sessions in 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic (February/March/April/May 2021) for admission to the next academic session 2021. Thus the candidates will be benefited in the following ways:

JEE Main Exam

Joint Entrance Examination Mains (JEE Main) is one of the engineering entrance examinations which tops the list of national-level entrance examinations for engineering. JEE (Main) was earlier popularly known as AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). This exam is conducted now by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India. It was introduced in 2002 and was renamed in April 2017. This exam is for admission to various undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in institutions that accept JEE (Main) scores. It offers admission to Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and various government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs). Initially, this exam was conducted once a year in the first week of April by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on both paper and electronic mode. CBSE was conducting this exam till 2018. But from 2019 it is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) twice a year in online mode only. The national Testing Agency will be responsible for issuing an information bulletin for 2019, inviting online applications, conducting entrance tests, providing answer keys, and declaration of results. List of Qualifying Examinations (QE)

I. Final examination of 10+2 (12th) system, passed from any recognized Central or State Board, such as Central. Organized by

Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Indian Council for the School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi;

Etcetera.

II. Intermediate or equivalent Two Year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or University in India, as well as foreign.

iii. The final examination of the two-year course of the Combined Services Wing of the National Defense Academy that is NDA.

iv. Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with a minimum number

of five subjects.

v. Any Public School or Board or University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent

10+2 system by Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

vi. HSCVE (Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination).

vii. Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education. The criteria of at least 3 years duration.

viii. General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination at Advanced (A) Level (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka).

ix. High School Certificate Examination of the University of Cambridge or Diploma of International Baccalaureate

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination

Only those candidates who have passed their class 12th examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2020 or 2021; OR Those appearing in their class 12th examination 2022 or any equivalent qualification CLICK

Reservations

For admission to a participating institution, please refer to the reservation applicable in that particular institution. If 10% of seats in Central Government-run institutions are reserved for General-Economically Category Weaker Sections (GEN-EWS), 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) Other Backward Classes belonging to the category Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 27% for the category “Non-Creamy” Layer” (OBC-NCL). Section 2(r) of the RPwD Act, 2016 states the following:

A person with Benchmark Disability (PWD) means not less than forty percent (40%) of disability in a specified person

Disability where the specified disability is not defined in measurable terms and includes a person with a disability

Where the specified disability is defined in measurable terms as certified by the certifying authority.

The Specified Disability means the disability specified in the Schedule to the RPWD government Act 2016. Categories of Disabled are:


(i) Blindness and low vision

(ii) Deaf and hard of hearing

(iii) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and

muscular dystrophy

(iv) Autism, intellectual disability, specified learning disability, and mental illness, and

(v) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (i) to (iv)

(vi) Other ‘specified disabilities’ mentioned in the Schedule of the RPwD Act 2016.

(F.No.34-02/2015-DD-III), Guidelines IV, 2nd Paragraph quoted below:

The facility of scribe/reader/lab assistant should be allowed to any person with a benchmark disability:

As defined under section 2(r) of the RPWD Act, 2016 and if so the limit in writing including speed

desired by him.

In case of persons with benchmark disabilities in the category of blindness, locomotor disability (both hands.)

Affected-BA) and Cerebral Palsy, if desired, facility of Writer/Reader/Laboratory Assistant will be provided.

In case of another category of candidates with benchmark disabilities, there is the provision of writer/reader/lab assistant may be made will be allowed on production of a certificate to the effect that the person concerned has a physical limitation of writing,

and Chief Medical Officer / Civil Surgeon / Medical scribe is required to write the examination on student behalf Superintendent of a Government health care institution.

The order further allows the candidate to choose his/her own writer/reader subject to the qualification of the author

Application Process

Candidates are required to apply for JEE (Main) April-2022 “Online” only by visiting the websites: www.nta.ac.in and

jeemain.nta.nic.in Application forms other than online mode will not be accepted under any circumstances. Only one. The application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple applications, i.e. more than one application submitted will be rejected by a candidate.

If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted more than one application and/or appeared in more than one date/shift, then the candidature will be canceled and legal action will be taken including debarring in future exams conducted by NTA

Students can get the online application form for the JEE Main 2022 exam. Contenders can also fill the online exam form on the official website of NTA and JEE. JEE Main Exam Pattern

JEE Main exam pattern released by National Testing Agency. Exam 1 and Exam 2 are conducted in 2 shifts a day. Exam 1 is an online-based exam and 2nd exam is based both online and offline.

NTA confirmed that there will be no change in the exam syllabus and exam pattern. Both JEE Main exams are conducted twice a year i.e. in the month of January and April by NTA from 2019 itself but in 2021 it will be conducted four times in February, March. , April May. February 2021 exam dates and timings and other information is out now.

JEE Main exam conducted in 8 shifts in 2021. Exam 1 consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as Exam 2, consists of Aptitude Test, Mathematics, and Drawing Test.
