Due to COVID-19 pandemic all universities and colleges remain closed from March 2020 in state as well as across the country and academic session and examination got delay. Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath government has issued new guideline for new academic session for state run universities.
As per the media report, the state government issue the guide line that admission for graduate program being to start from September and while the classes of first year graduate being to start from October 1st, 2020. As per the regulatory authority classes for the postgraduate students being the start from November 1st, 2020.
The Uttar Pradesh state government had decided earlier to reduce the syllabus of academic session 2020-21, keeping in mind to the loss of classes encounter due to COVID-19 lockdown. Government authority with education expert and partner will decide the syllabus within a month, keeping mind to students should not suffer the knowledge. The University examination of academic session 2020-21 will be held on March or April 2021.
The all state run university academic session and examination have been delayed due to COVID-19.
Dinesh Sharma has given statement “We are not declaring zero session and will make up for the lost time”. Dinesh Sharma is deputy Chief Minister as well as he also holds higher education portfolio.
