CUET
For admission to undergraduate programmes at more than 80 universities, including prestigious central universities like the University of Delhi (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), to name a few, the NTA administers the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET), a national exam.
From now on, the CUET (UG) exam will be offered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) twice annually in June and December.
What is the CUET Exam?
CUET is a national-level entrance exam that provides admission to UG and integrated programmes at 54 central universities and more than 80 additional institutions in India. (Including selected state, private, and deemed universities). The examination will be computer-based and given in two shifts. (Morning & Afternoon). Several prestigious universities will take part in the CUET, including Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Why CUET?
CUET was created to lower the strict cut-off requirements for admission to central universities and the associated colleges. Many aspirant students felt that these high cut-off requirements were unjust because each board has a different marking system. The test is a centralised assessment for more than 80 universities, including prestigious institutions like Jawaharlal Nehru University, Central University of Punjab, Delhi University, and Banaras Hindu University. The CUET scorecard will be used for admission to all of the participating universities’ constituent colleges. Because they only need to take one test to be admitted to these prestigious universities, pupils won’t have to take as many entrance exams.
CUET Participating University/ Institutions
The CUET is the required entrance exam for universities created by a Parliamentary Act and governed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. In order to ensure that all states were represented, the Central Universities Act was passed by Parliament, opening the way for the establishment of 16 further Central Universities.
Currently, a nationwide admission exam called the Common University admission Test (CUET) is used by 44 Central Universities and 28 other Universities to admit students into their undergraduate, graduate, and integrated programme. All Under-Graduate (UG) programme admissions for the Academic Session ahead would be handled by CUET, according to a decision taken by the administrative councils of Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.

CUET: Application Form

CUET Exam Syllabus
The subjects covered in the CUET UG course syllabus are numerical ability/logical reasoning, general knowledge, English, physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics for Paper 1 and numerical ability/logical reasoning, general knowledge, English for Paper 2. CUET Admit Card
Prior to the tests, the CUET UG city intimation slip and CUET admit cards will be made available. The following information, among others, will be included on the admit card:

- Name and address of exam center

CUET Marking Scheme
All UG, PG, and other integrated courses that are part of CUET will follow the same grading policy. As a result, candidates must become familiar with the CUET’s marking system. Students can ace the exam by fully comprehending the marking method. Candidates can prepare appropriately for the test and exercise caution when taking the exam if they are aware that there is negative marking in the exam.

CUET Cut-off Marks
You must obtain a minimal score, usually referred to as the cut-off score, to be eligible for the CUET admission exam. This score is provided by the organisation in charge of administering the admission exam and is made public on the NTA CUET website. Every year, the CUET cut-off scores are made public along with the CUET results. From category to category, different cut-offs apply. This cut-off score serves as the foundation for the merit list for the admissions process.
The CUET cut-off score for a certain year is determined by two key factors:
- number of applicants taking the exam
- The exam’s level of difficulty

The CUET will be a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions of an objective nature. In the first and second weeks of July, the exam will be given.
CUET Mock Test
The mock test is a crucial component of CUET preparation. The official CUET UG sample test will be made available online by NTA. All topics and languages will have access to the practice questions. The official exam website will host the online CUET mock test so that candidates may become familiar with the layout. Candidates can train using a virtual keyboard and calculator while navigating between questions and sections by taking the official CUET mock test. If students wish to improve their preparation, they should take the practise exams offered by coaching facilities or subject-matter experts, which will provide them questions taken from actual parts of the anticipated difficulty level. CUET Registration
The CUET registration for admission to UG and PG courses at all central institutions will be made public on different days. From this point forward, applicants who wish to take the Common University Entrance Test must complete a CUET Exam Result.
CUET Course Program Offered

Through CUET, formerly known as CUCET, the CUET participating universities will provide admission to UG, Integrated PG, and PG level courses. CUET Eligibility Criteria
The CUET Exam Result eligibility requirements and the booklet are both available on the National Testing Agency’s website. Candidates are urged to thoroughly study the CUET eligibility requirements before submitting an application for the exam. It is important for applicants to understand that the CUET eligibility requirements can change depending on the institutes and courses. Even at a later level of admission, an applicant will be excluded if they do not match the CUET eligibility requirements.
