Delhi University guidelines for examinations; Delhi University has taken design that issued guidelines for open book examinations starting November 30, stating that scholars who have decided for physical mode can also take the test from their home. Still, those who have decided for the online mode of examination can not conclude for the physical mode of the examination.
According to a functionary, the last date to fill the test form is November 18 and may be extended. The guidelines state that modalities should upload the mobile figures and dispatch-ids of the nodal officers on the council website so that scholars can reach them in case of any query during the examination.
Using ICT- grounded installations, scholars are given two options-physical modes (from council) and remote mode (from home). “ Those who have decided to write the test by physical mode will have the option to write it through remote mode but not vice versa. The council will give necessary structure in compliance with the guidelines of MHA, UGC in view of COVID-19, “the guidelines said. All installations will be handled by the council to the scholars to take the open book test in physical mode. They’ve to bring their own A4 size distance. The duration of the test will be four hours, which includes one hour for surveying the answer distance in PDF/ JPEG format and uploading it on the gate. Scholars with disabilities will be given six hours. Still, they can submit their answer wastes with factual substantiation beyond the specified time limit for which a fresh time of one hour will be given If scholars face specialized problems while uploading their answer wastes.
Cases of late submission will appertain to the Review Committee and their evaluation will be subject to the decision of the Committee as per the guidelines. Late submission may affect detention in the protestation of results for similar campaigners. In an affiliated development, the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) held up the examinations of third and fifth-semester scholars till further orders. The examinations were to start on November 30.
NCWEB is an on-formal system of carrying degrees from Delhi University in which lectures are given only on weekends. Only womanish scholars abiding in the National Capital Territory of Delhi can enroll themselves as scholars of the Board.
