IGNOU Admit Card has been released for B.Ed & PhD exams

IGNOU release B.Ed. and Ph.D. admit card available for download
The admit card for the B.Ed. and Ph.D. entrance exams for the BSCNPB has been made available by IGNOU. On the official Indira Gandhi National Open University website, ignou.ac.in, the university has made the call letter for the entrance exam available.
A valid photo ID and the candidate’s hall ticket 2023 are required to be brought to the exam centre when taking the IGNOU B.Ed and Ph.D entrance exam. This comprises a driver’s licence, voter ID, and an Aadhaar card. The IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2023 will be held on January 8, 2023, from 2 to 5 pm, according to the timetable that has been made public. Exam format
Questions from topics like General English Comprehension, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, Scholastic & General Awareness, and Teaching-Learning will be included in the IGNOU B.Ed Question Paper 2022. Students will have two hours to finish the IGNOU question paper, which will consist of MCQ-based questions.
Syllabus and Question paper
a) According to the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of MPhil / PhD Degrees) Regulations, 2022, the entrance exams syllabus consists of 50% questions on research technique and 50% questions on a specific subject.
b) The question paper must have 50% questions on research methods and 50% questions on a particular subject.
Instructions regarding the entrance test’s seat reservations, fees, and exam format
- The number of seats to be advertised in each category (GEN/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) is in accordance with the DOPT, Government of India’s Reservation Policy for Research Degree Programmes. Norms are periodically modified. In this case, the Information Brochure’s Appendix II may be consulted.
- Five percent (5%) of the seats must be set aside for people with disabilities (with a 40% or greater handicap). However, these individuals must be evaluated in relation to the relevant group (Gen, SC, ST, OBC, or EWS) to which they belong (Ref. Annexure II of Information Brochure 2022).
- Only online applications will be accepted. All applicants for admission to research degree programmes, including MPhil, NET, JRF, and other candidates, must pass an entrance examination. There can be no exceptions made for taking the entrance test.
- There is a Rs. 1000 application fee to submit an online application.
- There are no refunds for application fees.
- After the application has been successfully filed, no requests to modify the category will be considered.
- Applicants are urged to submit just one application, as the entrance test will be held on the same day for all programmes.
- The candidate must meet the minimum eligibility requirements outlined in the IGNOU Regulations for the conduct of Research Programs in order to be eligible to take the entrance test.
- If a candidate does not match these minimal eligibility requirements but nonetheless registers for the written examination, they do so at their own risk and expense, and if it is later determined that they do not, any admission will be automatically revoked.
- The entrance test is given 70% of the weight, and the interview receives 30%.
- The cutoff score for the Open Category Entrance Test is 50%. The required grade for SC/ST/OBC, EWS, and PWD students is 45%.
- Performance in the entrance test and interview was taken together determines a student’s admission to the different programmes.
Candidates should double-check their admit cards to ensure that all the material is true and free of grammatical or factual errors. The deadline for IGNOU re-registration was also extended by the institution till January 15, 2023.
