The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is already accepting the term of January 2023 applications. Application forms for a variety of courses provided by the university are available on IGNOU’s official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The deadline for session applications is January 31, 2023.

Admission to IGNOU’s ODL and online programmes for the class of 2023 has begun. Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diplomas, and certificate programmes including the BA, BSc, BBA, MA, MCom, MSc, and others are all available for admission through the university. Before January 31, 2023, interested applicants can apply for their desired programme through the Online Samarth Portal or the Regional Center (Offline) option. There is an INR 300 application fee required for the majority of the programmes.

How to complete the IGNOU Registration form
- Carefully read the program’s details, including the qualifying requirements, payment information, duration, etc.
- In the applicant login area, select the NEW REGISTRATION button and enter the necessary registration information.
- Keep in mind that your user name must contain between 8 and 16 characters.
- Your password must be between 8 and 16 characters long and contain only alphanumeric characters.
- After completing the required fields, use the “SUBMIT” button.
- You’ll receive an email and SMS right away with your username.
- Keep your username and password handy for future logins.
- Click the “LOGIN” button if you have previously registered, or if you are an existing user.
- Before proceeding for filling out the form online the applicant must have the following:-
- Scanned Photograph
- Scanned Signature
- Scanned copy of Age Proof
- Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification
- Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate
- Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC
- Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate, if Below Poverty Line

- Debit Card (Master/Visa/Rupay)
6. Documents from your originals must be scanned. When you click the next button after uploading the document, the opportunity to view the form will appear. Your form should be saved or printed for future use.
Candidates may still submit IGNOU application forms for the B.Ed, Ph.D., and B.Sc. Nursing entrance exams till December 25, 2022, according to a previous statement from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). In a statement announcing the start of the entrance examination application process, IGNOU stated that no hard copies would be allowed and that all applicants may check their eligibility, the entrance examination syllabus, and the exam format on IGNOU’s official website, ignou.ac.in.
About IGNOU Registration fee, Cancellation of Admission, and Refund of Fee
At the time of enrollment, a non-refundable Registration Price will be added to the first semester/program year’s fee. If a student requests to revoke their application or admission and receive a fee refund, the university will take into account their request in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Before admittance is officially confirmed, all programme fees paid will be reimbursed.
- Following admission confirmation:
- The paid programme fee will be returned within 15 days of admission confirmation, less a deduction of INR 500.
- Within 16 to 90 days of enrollment confirmation, the programme fee will be returned, less a deduction of INR 1000.
- After 90 days from the admissions confirmation date, there will be no refunds granted.
According to an IGNOU notification, candidates may pay the application fee for a variety of positions via credit card (Master/Visa), debit card (Master/Visa/Rupay), or net banking. Every year, people fill out the registration papers for the IGNOU January cycle in the month of December. On the other hand, the application period for July begins in May.
