JEE Main2022

NTA has not released any official guideline for the conduct of JEE Main 2022 till today. Meanwhile, NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi informed that the number of JEE Main attempts for aspirants will depend on the date of conclusion of board exams for class 12th students.

In the 2021 JEE Main exam, NTA allowed four attempts for JEE Main candidates. The NTA was taken the decision due to rising COVID-19 cases. Earlier, there were only two attempts for JEE Main. According to experts, candidates can expect similar changes to continue this year as well. JEE Main 2022 exam date NTA yet not announced

Some boards have also announced that if the situation of COVID-19 worsens, they will not conduct the second session exams. In the last session also, some entrance exams were delayed due to COVID-19. It is possible that the officials reduce the number of attempts to two in order to start the new session on time. However, it will completely depend on the pandemic situation in the country.

Internal option for JEE Main 2022 likely to continue

Various central and state boards reduced the syllabus of class 12th by 30% in the previous session. However, in JEE Main syllabus, NTA did not make any changes; Instead, students were given internal choices in the JEE Main question paper. This year also the syllabus is working under the same reduced syllabus. Hence, it is likely that the JEE Main 2022 exam pattern will be more on the lines of the previous year.

In JEE Main 2021, candidates were given 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Generally, there are only 25 questions. This gave the candidates a definite edge over the previous year candidates. Check JEE Main Previous Year Question Papers with searchurcollege.

Board The Ministry of Education has relaxed the board exam criteria since the start of the pandemic. Considering the recent relaxation, candidates can take admission in their desired institute only on the basis of their entrance test scores.
