MI Scholarship for privilege students

Xiaomi India knows as Smartphone, Laptop and other electronic item manufacture and sale in India. Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative Xiaomi India is providing scholarship to economically weaker class privilege students in the name of MI Scholarship. MI Scholarship is a launched to support economically weaker sections population of our society. This scholarship provided to 10^th or 12^th Passed students who willing to study further but due to financial situation not favorable they drop the study. The students are pursuing class 11/12 or undergraduate level courses they are eligible for this scholarship scheme. The students are pursuing 11^th they can get Rs.3800/- and who ever doing undergraduate they deserve for Rs.5800/- will be awarded with scholarship amount worth Rs.2 Crore.

Students can apply for this scholarship online and the dates announced every year between Octobers to December. The 31^st December is last date for submit the application for scholarship for academic session 2020-21.

The students who want to avail the benefit of this scholarship; they must fulfill the specific eligibility criteria. The major criteria are depending up on academic qualification and achievement.

Students are applying for 11^th or 12^th Scholarship the students must be India citizen and have 70% marks in 10^th then he/she will eligible for scholarship. Students are applying for undergraduate courses like, BCA, B.Com and BBA, they are must in India citizen and have 70% marks in 12^th then they will eligible for scholarship.

As above told that if students pursuing Class 11/12 he/she eligible for Rs. 3,800 where as the students enrolled in undergraduate degree programme will receive Rs 5,800 to continue their studies.

How to register for MI Scholarship; follow the steps given below;

Step 1: Visit the official scholarship page.

Step 2: Read all the details carefully and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the respective scholarship.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the application instruction page. Click on the ‘Start Application’ button.

Step 4: Fill in all required details in the scholarship application form.

Step 5: Upload all relevant documents.

Step 6: Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. Check if all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen or not.

Step 7: If all the details in preview are correct, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

The list of documents required for MI Scholarship

Photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card)

Passport size photograph

Income proof (Form 16A/income certificate from government authority/salary slips, etc.)

Proof of admission (school/college/university ID card/bonafide certificate/etc.)

Current academic year fee receipt

Bank account details of the scholarship applicant (cancelled cheque/passbook copy).

Marksheets or grade card of Class 10/12/diploma

Selection process for MI Scholarship

The MI Scholarship selection process is involves multiple stages. The students are selected on the basis of their financial need and academic merit. The key steps followed in the process of selection include –

• Initially, the applications are shortlisted on the basis of academic merit and financial background.
• The shortlisted candidates will be called for a telephonic interview round after which the final selection will be made.
