NEET UG PG Seats; According to the Central Government, there are now 71% more medical colleges than there were in 2014. There are now 660 medical colleges, up from 387 previously.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test [NEET (UG) – 2023] to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, the 07th May 2023 (Sunday) in pen and paper mode in 13 languages as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum Will go -Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. Similarly, as per section 14 of the NC the full form of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG). NEET (UG) 2023 in the languages in which it will be conducted are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates seeking MNS (Military Nursing Services) Advertisement It is necessary to qualify NEET for the Mission to B.Sc Nursing course being conducted in Armed Forces Medical Services Hospitals for the year 2023. NEET score will be also used for shortlisting for selection in four years B.Sc Nursing course.

On the other hand, since 2014, the number of MBBS seats has surged by 97%. In 2014, there were just 51,348 seats; as of today, there are 101,043. Of them, 52778 seats are available in government medical colleges and remaining 48,265 seats are accessible in private medical colleges. Bharti Praveen Pawar, a Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, provided this information in response to a Rajya Sabha question.

NEET PG Seats

He said that the number of Post Graduate Courses (PG Seats) in medicine has increased by 110%. Prior to 2014, there were 31,246 PG seats for the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) and Fellowship of National Board (FNB), and 621 PG seats were located in medical and surgical colleges (CPS).

He stated that the implementation of CSS has increased the number of MBBS and PG Seats at State and Central Government Medical Schools.

Through these programmes, funding has been made available to add 4677 MBBS seats in 77 colleges, 4058 PG seats in Phase I at 72 colleges, and 3858 PG seats in Phase II at 60 colleges across the nation.

Under the Central Sector Plan, 22 AIIMS have been authorized for the establishment of new AIIMS. Of of them, 19 have begun offering UG courses.

According to the Union Minister, Telangana has been given support to add 51 PG seats to 9 medical colleges as part of the CSS for Upgrading Existing State Government/Central Government Medical Institutions programme.
