Candidates for DU CUET UG admission must take and pass CUET UG. Students must also complete the CSAS UG 2023 form on admission.uod.ac.in, which stands for Common Seat Allocation System Undergraduate. Candidates must indicate their preferred programme and college on the CSAS form.

According to DU, candidates occasionally choose programmes in order to get admission to a certain college, even when they lack the prerequisite skills or expertise for pursuing those programmes or fields of study.

For instance, having a working knowledge of or fluency in the specific language’s reading and writing could be a requirement for enrolling in some programmes linked to language. Hence, the candidates are recommended to review the syllabi of all the Programs in which they desire to enter the University, if offered, before providing their preferences on the CSAS(UG) 2023 site, the university added.

Undergraduate course admission is based on individuals’ preferences as well as their CUET merit score. According to DU, once admission is confirmed, freezing to a course while submitting preferences prevents changes from being made while studying.

The advisory is accessible on admission.uod.ac.in, the DU’s official admissions website. The university’s administration has advised students to carefully review the course descriptions for each programme because “the University has observed that at times candidates opt for programmes with the primary intent of applying for admission to a certain college while lacking the prerequisite information or skills needed to pursue the program/area of study.

National Testing Agency, which administers CUET UG, has in the meantime extended the application deadline. Applicants have till March 30 to submit applications at cuet.smarth.ac.in. Between May 21 and May 31, the CUET UG 2023 test will be given.
