IGNOU January Session Admission; The deadline for applications for the January 2023 cycle for both online and ODL programmes has been extended to March 14, according to a statement made on Saturday by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Moreover, all other programmes have an application deadline of March 20, 2023. Candidates who meet the requirements can register at the official website.
Candidates must submit their applications through ignouiop.samarth.edu.in for online programmes. Candidates must apply at ignousamarth.edu.in for the Online and ODL programme.
Interested and qualified applicants may submit applications for certificate- or semester-based programmes through March 14, 2023.

How to apply for the IGNOU January Session Admission 2023
Step 1: Visit ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or ignouiop.samarth.edu.in, the official websites.
Step 2: Choose “new registration”
Step 3: Your name, phone number, email address, and other details should be entered.
Step 4: Use your registered username, password, and security captcha to log in after registering.
Step 5: Fill out the application.
Step 6: Save the fees, submit them, and do so.
Step 7: Save the application on your computer for later use.
The following documents must be submitted with an application for an IGNOU course: a scanned copy of your ID, your signature, a copy of your birth certificate, your experience certificate, your category certificate (if applicable), and your BPL certificate (if any).
Students from the SC and ST categories are only eligible to apply for one program’s fee waiver. The claim for fee exemption will be denied if the candidate submits several applications. After admission is confirmed, eligible students may apply for Government of India Scholarships at scholarships.gov.in, according to the official website.
There are no late penalties to pay
Online ODL applications are accepted at any time, and there is no late charge. The candidates do not have to pay the late fee in order to take advantage of the extended deadline.
Please be aware that IGNOU has repeatedly extended the deadline for registering for the January session. The original deadline for this was January 31, but it was later extended to February 20 and then to March 20, 2023. There is yet another excellent possibility for the students in such a circumstance. Please note that this amount has been raised specifically for ODI programmes.
