After declared the JEE Advance result by IIT Delhi next process for admission in IITs & NITs is counseling and JoSAA has responsibilities to do counseling for admission in undergraduate B. Tech course in different IITs, NITs and other engineering colleges in India. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the first allotment list on Saturday for counseling on its official website. The JoSAA announced the date online registration process for started from October 6 2020 and ended on October 15, 2020.

These are premium engineering colleges in India have very tough competition to take admission. There are two exam have to qualify for admission in these colleges, First NTA conduct JEE Main examination twice in a year, first in January and second in April but due to COVID-19 pandemic April examination got postpone and conducted in first week of September 2020. The result announced on 11th September 2020. There are top 250000 students are eligible for JEE advance examination conducted on 27th September 2020 and result announced on 5th October 2020.
The admission for all institute offers to all academic programs will be made through a single platform. There are 23 IITs in India, 31 NITs in India, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs in India, and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs) using single platform for admission for academic program with several private and self funding colleges and universities also excepting the score of JEE Main & advance for admission in their institute.
