MIT Pune Courses
Under its various schools, including Design, Management, Liberal Arts, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Chemistry, and Computer Science, to name a few, MIT Pune is home to over 15 departments that collectively offer over 70 courses in various streams at the undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctorate levels. MIT Pune Admission
Admission to MIT World Peace University is now open for several UG and PG programmes. Interested studentsalso apply both online and offline modes. While admission to the B.Techprogramme at MIT-WPU is strictly based on the student’s performance in the JEE Main, MHT-CET, and PERA entrance exams, admission to the BBA, B.Sc, BA, and B.Com programmes is based on passing scores in the university’s UGPET, which is followed by a round of personal interviews. Valid CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAH-CET/PERA/MAT results are required for admission to MBA programmes. Candidates for the M.Tech programme must have valid GATE exam scores to be considered. PGPET exam results are used to determine admission to the M.Sc., M.Com., and MCA programmes.

MIT Pune Admission Process

MIT Pune Scholarship
Merit scholarships are offered by MIT Pune to eligible and distinguished students. MIT-WPU internal examinations (UGPET & PGPET) for the academic year, as well as the student’s success in projected National level/State Level entrance exams, are taken into consideration for awarding scholarships. The MIT WPU Merit Scholarships fall under the following categories:
- DrVishwanathKarad Merit Scholarship: Subject to meeting the requirements outlined in the relevant policy, this scholarship would offer the top 5% of students in the given programme a 100% waiver on the tuition costs for all of the years.
- MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded based on the merit of the applicants, is valid for the academic year in which it is announced, and applies to the first year of the program(s). There are 5 scholarship categories in this merit scholarship, including
1) 100% fee waiver
2) 75% fee waiver
3) 50% fee waiver
4) 25% fee waiver
5) 10% fee waiver.
- Scholarship to Rank Holders:Every year, this fellowship is given to programme rank holders who place first or second in their respective MIT-WPU annual examinations. From the second year of the programme onward, qualifying students will receive the rank holder scholarship.
- Scholarships to Elite Sportsmen:Based on their participation or performance in nationally or internationally renowned sporting tournaments or events, this scholarship is given to deserving athletes.
- Scholarships are given to children of MIT WPU/MAEER employees
- Special Scholarship:Students with exceptional talent in sectors such as sports, arts, culture, design, media, and social activities will be given this prize.
- Other scholarship: It includes scholarships for veterans, physically challenged students, J&K migrants, and alumni.

MIT Pune Faculty& Infrastructure
Books on a variety of topics, including philosophy, humanities, religion, human rights, Vedic studies, yoga, literature, psychology, management, education, and related topics, can be found in the World Peace Centre Library at MIT-WPU. Students and faculty use these books to expand their knowledge and improve as individuals.
The university has its cricket, football, and volleyball grounds, as well as twin basketball courts with floodlights. It also has a fully equipped sporting infrastructure. It also boasts a well-equipped gymnasium with a modern design that is 1500 square feet. Table tennis, Carrom, and wrestling are also available through the university.
Boys and females can stay in different hostels at MIT WPU Pune. While the girl’s hostel can house 175 students, the boy’s hostel is a five-story structure with enough for roughly 400 kids. Hostels are distributed based on merit. The MIT Pune dormitory includes all the essential amenities, including a canteen, a common area with a TV, hot water, a public phone, etc. Students’ safety is ensured by the hostel’s round-the-clock security personnel.
