WBJEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are considered eligible for WBJEE if they fulfill the following criteria:
Candidate must be a citizen of India
The lower age limit for candidates is 17 years as on December 31, 2021.
There is no upper age limit to appear in WBJEE 2021 Exam.
The maximum age limit for admission to degree level Marine Engineering course is 25 years as on December 31, 2020. The lower age limit is still 17 years old.
Academic Qualifications
For candidates to be considered eligible, they must possess the following educational qualifications:
For admission in engineering courses
Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination (qualifying examination) with Physics and Mathematics with any one of the following as compulsory subjects:
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Biotechnology
- Computer applications
- Computer science
- Technical business subject
Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in the above three subjects taken together. There is 5% relaxation for SC, ST, PWD, OBC-A and OBC-B students so only need to score 40% marks.
Candidates must have passed English in their qualifying examination (10+2) with at least 30% marks.
The Board of the said qualifying examination should be recognized by the State or Central Government.
Only regular candidates are eligible.
For admission to pharmacy courses
- Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination (qualifying examination) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as compulsory subjects:
- Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in the above three subjects taken together. There is 5% relaxation for SC, ST, PWD, OBC-A and OBC-B students so only need to score 40% marks.
- Candidates must have passed English in their qualifying examination (10+2) with at least 30% marks.
- The Board of the said qualifying examination should be recognized by the State or Central Government.
Please Note: Students who have secured their 10+2 qualification from non-classroom room-based and non-formal schooling systems such as the National Institute of Open Schooling and similar institutions can apply for admission to B.Pharm. will not be eligible. Duration.
How to Apply For WBJEE 2022 exam
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB), Kolkata invites online applications for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 for admission to undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in the state of West Bengal. Interested candidates will have to appear for WBJEE written test, which will be conducted in offline mode. WBJEE 2022 Exam Application Fee
After uploading the photograph and signature, candidates will be directed for the examination fee payment stage. Candidates have to pay INR 500 as WBJEE 2022 exam fee. The examination fee of WBJEE 2022 can be paid by Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card only. Along with the examination fee, the applicable bank service charges will also be charged from the candidates. The examination fee will not be refundable under any circumstances.

WBJEE 2022 Exam Marking Scheme
The all questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with four options against each question. There will be three categories of questions in each subject. The number of questions as well as the maximum marks for each are given in the following table. The number of questions and marks awarded is as follows:
The total marks for WBJEE exam is 200. Each correct answer will carry 1 or 2 marks (depending on the category). If the question is not attempted, no marks will be awarded. In case of questions from Category 1 and 2, negative marks will be awarded for choosing more than 1 option.
For every wrong answer you will get:
Category 1: -¼ (25% negative)
Category 2: -¼ (25% negative)
Category 3: Combination of a correct and incorrect answer will fetch 2 marks while a partially correct answer will result in: 2 x (number of correct options marked total number of correct options marked)
WBJEE 2022 Mode of Answering – Important Instructions
Candidates will have to mark their answers on the OMR sheet, which will be evaluated by optical mark recognition method. So, candidates need to be very attentive while marking the answers.
- Each question will have four options and candidates have to darken the appropriate circle completely in blue or black ballpoint pen
- Any other type of marking, such as a tick, a dot, a circle, white ink, or scratches, can cause an incorrect or unclear reading of the response.
- In case of such incident, WBJEEB will not be held accountable.
- Once a candidate records a response in the OMR, it cannot be changed or erased. So, candidates must be sure about the answer before marking it. Also, do not put any stray marks on the options.
