IGNOU offers admissions twice a year, in January and July. Admission to all UG and PG courses is based on the overall qualifying exam score. Results of the entrance exam determine eligibility for admission to the PhD and B.Ed degrees. NTA offers two sessions of the IGNOU B.Ed admission exam at various places.

IGNOU Courses

Numerous online and remote learning courses are available through the Indira Gandhi National Open University. However, some small courses are also offered for regular and part-time study. This year, the institution introduced two new programmes: the PG Diploma in Sustainability Science and the PG Diploma in Digital Media. The IGNOU’s admissions procedure is currently open for the July session. IGNOU admission will be offered in two cycles, the first of which will begin in January and the second in July. The average grade that applicants received in their qualifying degree serves as the primary admissions criterion. LPU University accepts the entrance exams for the MBA, B.Ed, Post-Basic BSc Nursing, MPhil, and PhD for a select few programmes.

IGNOU Exam

IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) is a distance-learning university in India that offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs in various fields of study.

As a distance learning university, Ignou Exam Registration conducts exams twice a year – in June and December – for its students. These exams are conducted in various exam centers across India and other countries.

The Ignou Exam Registration are conducted in both online and offline mode, depending on the course and the availability of the infrastructure. IGNOU employs a proctored exam method for its online exams, requiring students to take the test while it is being watched by a proctor who makes sure they don’t use any unethical tactics.

To appear for IGNOU exams, students need to register for the exam by filling up an exam form and paying the exam fee. The exam form is available on the IGNOU website and can be filled up online. The exam fee can be paid online or through a demand draft.

IGNOU Exam Form 

  • Students must complete the IGNOU exam form in order to take the exams. The processes to filling out the Ignou Exam Registration form are as follows:
  • Visit the IGNOU website at www.ignou.ac.in to do so.
  • Select “Student Services” from the drop-down menu by clicking the “Student Zone” option on the site.
  • Select “Term-End Examination Results” from the drop-down menu after clicking on the “Results” tab on the Student Services page.
  • Click the “Exam Form” link on the page with the results of the term-end exams.
  • You should carefully read the guidelines before choosing the exam you want to take.
  • Complete the exam registration form with all the required information, including your enrolment number, programme code, and preferred exam location.
  • Choose your payment method and submit the exam fee.
  • The completed exam form should be printed out and saved for future use.

Note: You can also submit the exam form offline by filling it out in person at an IGNOU Regional Centre or Study Centre. Demand draughts or cash are accepted forms of payment for the exam fee.

IGNOU Hall Ticket

Students must download their hall tickets from the official IGNOU website in order to show up for IGNOU exams. The steps to downloading an Ignou Exam Registration hall ticket are as follows:

  • Visit IGNOU’s official website.
  • Select “Student Services” from the drop-down menu by clicking the “Student Zone” option on the site.
  • Select “Term-End Examination Results” from the drop-down menu after clicking on the “Results” tab on the Student Services page.
  • Click on the “Hall Ticket” link on the page with the results of the term-end exams.
  • Then, input your 9-digit enrollment number after choosing the programme.
  • Select “Submit” from the menu.
  • On the screen will be your IGNOU hall ticket.
  • A print of the hall ticket.

The IGNOU hall ticket must be brought to the testing location. Students will not be permitted to present for the exam without their hall ticket.

IGNOU Exam Result

Exams are held twice a year by IGNOU, in June and December. IGNOU typically releases the TEE results 45 days following the exams. The Ignou Exam Registration contains numerous significant facts, such as the student’s enrollment number, the course name, the course coder, the maximum marks, the marks received, grades, and more.

IGNOU also provides grade cards, entrance exam results, and results from examinations taken on demand in addition to TEE results.   • Please visit the IGNOU website.
  • Select “Student Support” from the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the main page.
  • Candidates must select the “Result” option from a dropdown list that is offered.
  • The screen will soon display a new window.

  • After proceeding to the following stage, pick the “Exam Result” tab.

About IGNOU Entrance Exam Result

Only a select few programmes, such as MBA, B.Ed, BBA (SM), B.Sc. nursing (PB), etc., require IGNOU entrance exams. Students who wish to apply for admission to the IGNOU MBA programme must take the NTA’s OPENMAT exam, which is offered twice a year (in July and January). For admission to management programmes such the MBA, DIM, PGDIM, PGDHRM, etc., the IGNOU OPENMAT is held.

Passing the B.Ed Entrance Test, which is administered by the institution itself, is a requirement for enrollment in the IGNOU B.Ed Programme. The OPEN NET entrance exam is taken in order to get admission to post-basic B.Sc. Nursing programmes through Ignou Exam Registration. Only one time each year is the IGNOU OPENNET exam available.

IGNOU Term End Result

  • Visit the official website first, and then choose the online registration option. After selecting the menu item for new admission.
  • After that, a new window will emerge with two options: click here for new registration for applicants, or log in for students who are already registered. 
  • Fill out the online registration forms with the essential information.
  • Utilizing the login information you created at registration, complete the application, pay the application cost, and submit it.
