NEET Exam Conducted By
NEET is a very significant entrance examination in India by students wishing to be doctors. And many students don’t know that the neet exam is conducted by which agency? So there is only one agency, the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET is an abbreviation of the name National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. This Neet exam is conducted for medical students at a national level. To join courses such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical courses in government and other private colleges in India, the students are required to pass this exam. If you are dreaming of becoming a doctor, the NEET exam is for you.
NEET exam was conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) before 2019. But since 2019, the NEET exam has been assigned to the NTA (National Testing Agency). NTA is a government body that was set up as an independent organization to administer transparent and efficient entrance examinations to higher education.
The NEET test is taken on an annual basis in an offline form (pen and paper based). The questions are given in the form of Multiple choice questions (MCQ) on 3 major topics: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The Neet exam method candidates must attempt 180 questions out of 200. Each correct answer has 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted with every wrong answer and the duration of the exam is 3 hours 20 minutes.
The primary objective of conducting the NEET exam by NTA is that it will provide fairness, transparency and a uniformity in medical admissions in India. Prior to NEET, each state and individual colleges were having their own entrance test. This made the students confused and pressurized since they needed to study numerous exams. Today, this has been changed with NEET as the only entrance test; this has made the process of admission easier and more structured.
The National Testing Agency will be in charge of the release of NEET notification, application form, admit card, answer key and result. All the formal announcements concerning the exam are placed at the official site of NTA. Students will be required to visit the site frequently to have information concerning important dates, syllabus, examination pattern and guidelines.
NEET is administered to attain admission to the finest medical schools in India like the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) among other government medical schools. NEET also gives the student the chance of getting seats under the All India Quota (15 percent) and State Quota (85 percent). The exam is also applicable to the private medical colleges and deemed universities.
In order to take NEET, the students should have taken or ought to take Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as obligatory courses in Class 12. Minimum age is also required as 17 years. NTA establishes eligibility regulations based on regulations that have been made by medical authorities.
The examination is available in more than one language, including English, Hindi, and the local languages of various states to ensure the students of various states can have access to it. NTA also makes sure that there are exam centers in the cities within the Indian country, not to mention that it has some abroad where Indian students are studying.
Conclusively, the NEET exam can be considered to offer a standardized and fair method of admission into medical courses in India, through the National Testing Agency. It is a very significant force in determining the future of lakhs of medical aspirants each year. Students that aspire to be doctors need to be serious and keep abreast with official announcements published by NTA. NEET can be crackable with the right preparation and commitment and it can lead to a good medical career.
