SRM University Eligibility; the eligibility criteria for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at SRM University, Sonepat are as follows:
For Undergraduate Courses:
- B.Tech: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- BBA, B.Com (Hons.), B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication), B.A. (Economics Hons.), B.A. (English Hons.): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- BA LLB (Hons.), BBA LLB (Hons.): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
For Postgraduate Courses:
- M.Tech: Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- MBA: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- M.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication), LL.M.: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

At the UG level, SRM University offers L.L.B. (Hons), BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA, and BCA programmes in addition to B.Techprogrammes in eleven different subjects and B.Sc. degrees in six other fields. The three-year B.Tech degree lasts the same amount of time as the three-year B.Com (Hons), B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BA, BBA, and BCA programmes. The university offers integrated courses as well as BBA LLB and BA LLB degrees.
To enrol in one of the UG or Integrated programmes, candidates must have completed Class 12 or a course equivalent in the relevant discipline from a recognised board with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%. In order to be considered for the B.Techprogramme, applicants must have received at least a 50% PCM mark in their 10+2 exam.
Admission to UG studies will be granted based on the outcomes of the SRM University’s (SRMHCAT) common aptitude exam. It is not necessary to have a JEE Main score in order to apply for admission to the B.Techprogramme.

SRM University PG Eligibility criteria: M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Com, M.Sc., MA, and LLM
At the graduate level, SRM University offers M.Tech programmes in nine different subjects, two MBA programmes, seven M.Sc. programmes, two MA programmes, M.Com programmes, MCA programmes, and LLM programmes. SRM University Sonipat offers 2-year M.Tech, MBA, M.Com, M.A., M.CA, and M.Sc. programmes.
To be taken into consideration for admission to the university’s postgraduate programmes, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the pertinent field from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50%. Candidates for the M.Tech degree must have earned at least a 50% grade in their BE or B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline.
Admission to all postgraduate programmes will be based on GATE, SRMHCAT, and SRMJEE-PG scores. For the MBA programme, applicants having scores from the CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, GMAT, or SNAP are also welcome.

SRM University Integrated Eligibility criteria
SRM University Sonepat provides BA + LLB and BBA + LLB programmes for undergraduates, and a B.Tech + MBA programme for graduate students. The duration of any integrated programme offered by SRM University Sonipat is five years.
To be admitted to the BA+LLB, BBA+LLB, and B.Tech+MBAprogrammes at the institution, candidates must have successfully completed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent with an overall grade of at least 50% from a recognised board. Admission to these programmes will be based on the SRMHCAT test results.

SRM University Ph.D. Eligibility criteria
In 19 different academic subjects, SRM University offers Ph.D. studies at the Research level. A minimum cumulative GPA of 55% is required for postgraduate degrees from authorised institutions for candidates for the Ph.D. programme. The admission exam is waived for applicants who have an M.Phil., CSIR-UGC, JRF, NET, or SLET in the relevant discipline. Admission will be determined by the outcomes of the university’s aptitude test (SRMHCAT).
