History of Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering, Pune, India under Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University was established in September 1983 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam. The college became a constituent unit of the Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in June 2000 and received admission and accreditation in the grade thereafter. Spread over 85 acres, Bharati Vidyapeeth (considered to be a university) Pune Dhanakwadi campus is one of the premier campuses of the university owing to its convenient green space and available facilities.
Also known as Katraj Campus, it is a place where students from 17 constituent institutions come for their academic and personal development. Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune Admission Process
Admission to B.Tech is through Bharti Vidyapeeth’s own Common Entrance Test BVPCET (Engineering), 70% of seats are available through the entrance test, and the rest through JEE, MHTCET, and Management Quota. Admission to M.Tech is through the Common Entrance Test BVPCET held in the month of May/June every year

Step 2: Shortlisting of Students

Step 3: Seat Allotment
The shortlisted students for the MBA course are called for the counseling round. The seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of performance in the entrance test and counseling. However, for most of the courses, students are directly allotted a seat on the basis of their merit rank, category, and seat matrix. In order to provide equal education opportunities to all, the university also reserves some seats in the courses offered.
Step 4: Admission Fee Payment and Seat Locking
Students who are offered a seat in the applicable course can either confirm their admission or lock the seat by paying the fee. Candidates can confirm the amount to be paid from BVDU Admission Office or University will also provide instructions regarding the same.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune Cut off
For the candidates who wish to enroll in the 4-year program through BVP CET, Bharati Vidyapeeth University will announce the category-specific BVP CET cutoff. The final score (or rank) for which admission will often be granted is the BVP CET cutoff. Bharati Vidyapeeth (BVP) Common Entrance Test (CET) must be taken by the applicants who wish to apply for these various programs at Bharati Vidyapeeth University. The candidates who will clear this exam will be allowed to participate in the counseling session. Students who perform better than the cutoff marks in this written test will be selected for admission to the programmes.
BVP CET cutoff will be determined by parameters like the total number of applicants, the number of seats allotted, the category of the candidate, etc.
The announcement states that in order to pass the entrance test and be selected for the admission process, a candidate must obtain at least the minimum percentage of marks required by the participating institutes.
The rank at which admission will be closed for the BVP CET cutoff will be decided by the governing authorities or the test conducting board.
