Overview

Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a public Institution which was established on 4th October, 1975.  EIT is a tertiary education provider and its Motto is “Educate, Innovate, and Transform”. EIT is located in Napier city of New Zealand. The Institute is one of New Zealand’s top-rated institutes of technology.

There are three campuses of Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT). These campuses are Auckland Campus, Gisborne Campus and Hawke’s Bay Campus. These campuses are also known as EIT Auckland, EIT Tairawhiti and EIT Hawke’s Bay. These all three campuses are equipped with all the facilities which are very essential for growth and overall development of students. EIT Hawke’s Bay and EIT Gisborne is the main regional higher education centre in Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne region. EIT has a 28 hectares (approx 69 Acre) main campus in Taradale in Auckland. It has learning centres also which are spread in Hastings, Waipukurau, Ruatoria, Tokomaru Bay, Wairoa and a centre in Maraenui.

EIT offers programmes ranging from certificate to post-graduate level. The balance of practical and theory provides students with the right qualifications, skills and industry experience. It offers more than 130 programmes across a wide range of subjects areas like:
