Overview

The University of Perpetual Help System DALTA was founded on 5, 1975 by Antonio Laperal Tamayo and his wife, Daisy Moran Tamayo. The Founding of University of Perpetual Help System DALTA was inspired by the parents of Antonio Tamayo, who was earlier founded which is known as the University of Perpetual Help System JONELTA, which has 5 campuses.

The first campus Perpetual Help College and Hospital is established in Manila to meet the local and international demand for nurses. After two year (1970), the Perpetual Help College and Hospital campus was founded in Malasiqui, Pangasinan, to promote the health and educational development in the rural areas in response to the governments program. This was the followed by the founding of the 3rd campus at Perpetual Help School of Laguna, Binan, in 1976, and its medical school. The name of the college is Perpetual Help School of Laguna Foundation. After his parents opened the Perpetual Help College and Hospital in Manila, Dr/BGen Antonio Tamayo and his wife Dr. Daisy Moran Tamayo founded their own college, known as Perpetual Help College of Rizal (PHCR) at Alabang-Zapote Road, in Las Pinas City. The building of the school was four-storey building which is constructed in the record time of four months.

Perpetual Help College of Rizal (PHCR) is the 1st and biggest University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, which is located in Las Pinas City. It has the population of student around of 12000 students and employs about 1500 teaching and non-teaching staff.
