Overview

The history of our school is closely related to the history of teacher education in Russia. The reforms of the XIX century contributed to the development of economy, trade, military affairs, and registered an increase in the number of educational institutions. From 1872, special educational institutes started to be created - Teacher Institute

On September 26, 1876, a teacher institution was opened in the County city of Belgorod, on the orders of the Ministry of Public Education. From this moment, our university starts a difficult but interesting way.

Provides about 190 academic programs for specialists, bachelors and masters. 25 postgraduate training programs in 55 research centers and laboratories and 66 specialties.

On June 4, 1919, the Belgorod Teachers Institute, on the basis of an order of the People's Commitment of Education of RSFSR, became a Belgorod Pediatric Institution, and in 1920 - in the Belgorod Institute of Public Education.

In 1922, the Belgorod Institute of Public Education turned into the Belgorod Practical Institute of National Education, which was reconstituted in an educational technical school in September 1923. In 1939, Belgorod State Teaching Institute was founded on the basis of the academic technical school.

On July 12, 1996, named after Belgorod State Pedagogical University, MS. The Olminsky Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Belgorod Regional Department of All-Russian Correspondence Financial Institute of the Financial and Economic Institute on Higher Education and the Belgorod Medical College of Belgorod Area Administration established the Belgorod University State Committee on Higher Education, which is their legal heir The number is 1030, the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 23, 1996, no. In the case of A08-2793 / 01-6, the inheritance of Belgorod State University with the Belgorod Teachers Training Institute, established in 1876, was established by a judgment of the Arbitration court of the Belgorod region of August 1, 2001.

The founder of the National Research University "Belsu" is the Russian Federation. The works and powers of the founder of the University are done by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
