Overview

Stavropol State Medical University was established in 1938. Since 50 years the University trains foreign students and in this duration, it prepares 1200 physicians, residents and interns for approximately 77 countries of, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.  

The founder of this University was the Russian Federation. Stavropol State Medical University is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The University is listed in the WHO (World Health Organization) that allow students to do work or do the job in any country of the world.
Stavropol University offered courses in General Medicine, Dental and Sports Medicine. It also offered post graduation in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Diseases, Cardiology, Opthalmology, Pediatrics, Urology, Psychiatry, etc. General Medicine is the field of study of medicine that covers the health problems of 18 years and above except dentistry. The graduates of General Medicine students are awarded as a Physician.

This University is situated in the Stavropol city that is located in the North Caucasus. The city has some Orthodox Churches and a Mosque for religion purposes. This University has a huge amount of historical monuments, museums, libraries, sports facilities, concert halls, supermarkets, and restaurant. There are more than 30 higher educational institutions where a minimum of 90,000 students are trained by the University.
