Candidates must meet the qualifying requirements to apply for admission to Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth University. B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. Shortlisted candidates will be considered for admission to bachelor programmes if they received a passing score on the entrance exam. For M.Sc. In nursing, M.P.T., and M. Optometry, the candidate must have earned a bachelor's degree in the pertinent field. The candidates will be admitted based on their entrance test results. Furthermore, passing the Class 12th or an equivalent exam in the pertinent areas with a score of 45% is a condition for admission to the B.Sc. in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology programmes.

Candidates for the M.Tech. in Integrated Biotechnology must have completed the XIIth grade or an equivalent level in PCB/Life Sciences with a minimum of 45% in those courses. The candidate must have completed a Bachelor's degree in the relevant/ discipline for admission to the M.Sc. in biotechnology and the MBA, respectively. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to the M.Tech. programme based on a valid score from the institute's entrance exam. MBA admissions will be given based on a passing result in the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA exam, as well as the subsequent GD/PI round.
