Christ University has the rare distinction of being the primary establishment in Mysore to be authorized by the National Assessment and enfranchisement Council (NAAC) in 1998. In 2004, the University Grants Commission (UGC) presented Christ faculty with autonomy and in 2006 it absolutely was known as an establishment with Potential for Excellence. Further, in 2008 the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of Bharat declared it as a ‘Deemed-to-be-University’.
