Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Kurnool is formally known as IIITDM Kurnool. It is presenting the design and manufacturing directly Engineering Education, research and to competitive all of the Indian products in global markets. This institute is under the guidance of IIITDM Kancheepuram, Chennai. The Indian Institutes of Information Technology Act (amendment), 2017 announced Institutes of National Importance (INI) status to the institute in August 2017. Its consequent publication in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 1, on December 08, 2014. The Andhra Pradesh Government allotted an area of 151 acres for the establishment of a permanent campus in Kurnool

This campus offering 4 courses in 1 stream, a B.tech course in three specializations and every specialization has 40 seats. For taking admission in IIIT, Kurnool, student will have to go through JEE Main Entrance. After the Entrance of JEE Main student will have to go for JoSAA counseling.
