Indian Institute Of Management (IIM), Tiruchirappalli is commonly and popularly known as IIM, Trichy is the eleventh member added in the prestigious family of IIM. IIM Trichy is known for its excellent teaching of management like other IIMs. It was set up in 2011. The Institute was mentored by IIM Bangalore believes in the idea of “celebration of learning”. IIM Trichy was established with a mission to nurture a learning environment in order to create and disseminate management knowledge of global standards. It aims to develop leaders who contribute in nation building.

IIM Trichy initially operated in NIT Trichy campus. Its campus remained NIT Trichy until 2017. The institute is situated in the peaceful environment of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu. The location serves as the perfect place to grab glowing MBA degree. The institute’s campus is spread over 175 acres of land. The campus is equipped with all the facilities needed for better learning like library, canteen, laboratories, hostels, and auditorium.

IIM Trichy offers Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM), Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), Post Graduate Program in Human Resources (PGPM HR), and Fellow Programme in Management. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of Valid CAT scores. Admission to the programs of IIM Trichy is done on the basis of Writing Analysis Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

IIM Trichy has collaborated with many international institutions for student and faculty exchanges, joint research program. Its International Academic partners are ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon; EMLYON Business School; SKEMA Business School; University of North Carolina at Greensboro; Solbridge International School of Business etc. These collaborations provide international exposures to the students and the faculty members. The institute organizes many guest-lectures also for enhancement of student’s knowledge.

IIM Trichy has been maintaining an outstanding record of 100% placement. This year a total of 94 companies participated in the recruitment process.
