The IIMT Engineering College, Meerut (College Code 127) was established in 2001 at Ganga Nagar, Meerut with an objective to create technically competent engineers who can play a major role in development of nation. The College offers B. Tech in IT, CS, EC, EN, ME and Civil branches with an a total intake of 990 students and M. Tech in ME, ECE, CSE & IT streams with an intake of 18 students in each branch. IIMT Engineering College Meerut with its vision to transcend education from teacher-centered to learner-centered, attracts students from all part of the country. 

The placement arm of MIT's Corporate Resource Center (CRC) is very active. Placement cell activities include identification opportunities, eligibility mapping, resume short list, pre-placement, talk recognition and negotiation and eventual recruitment. Industrial visits also play an important role in providing students with theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
