KIIT School of Biotechnology was established in 2007 as a constituent of KIIT to be the first institute in the state to have integrated academic and research programmes. The progressive facilities of the varsity embody an adequate range of air-conditioned school rooms, laboratories, conference hall, reading rooms and around clock Library with Journals, e-resources, bilingual news papers, divergent magazines and around 15000 books. The digital library has access to eleven sizable amount of databases associated with knowledge domain subjects together with the core subjects of science and technology.

KSBT is channelling its collective energies into finding large-scale issues. the look work of KSBT can facilitate to the realisation of the vision of translational analysis and Operational Excellence by operating across boundaries to modify and standardize method management and method improvement efforts, increasing efficiencies, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
