In the history of NITs country is that The National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh is newly opened in India which is situated at Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District, and Andhra Pradesh. Also known as NIT Andhra Pradesh, NIT Tadepalligudem and NIT Eluru. Its position in 31st among the group of NIT by the Government of India and stated an Institute of National Importance. This institute is under the guidance of the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. The institute has recently signed a MOU with the Central Public Works Department for its construction. The new campus will be constructed in 2 phases on 176 acres of land which is allotted by the state government for the activity of construction of Academic, Hostel, Guest House, and Admin buildings in Phase-I which completion has done by March 2019. Very soon Phase-II will be executed and has a sanctioned amount of 400cr by the MHRD/HEFA, underfunding scheme for higher education/technical institutes.

NIT Andhra Pradesh presenting four years program in B.Tech. Postgraduate, M.S. (By Research) beyond all the eight engineering branches only in externally sponsored more, and recently Ph.D. also introduces in many departments in full-time basis with all the exiting department including Science (Mathematics and Physics) and Humanities (English). Admission processes for the Indian students are based on JEE Main Exam and GATE, a candidate must be in rank because rank will be given based on score obtained.
