The National Institute of Technology Delhi is a public higher education of engineering institution located in Delhi, India. It is also known as NIT Delhi or NITD. NIT Delhi was founded in 2010; it has been announced as an Institute of National Importance by an act of Parliament of India. This institute is one of the 31th National Institutes of Technology in India. The National Institute of Technology, Delhi is one of ten NITs established during the 11th Five Year Plan by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Its first volume started in the year 2010-11, in three undergraduate Bachelor of Technology degree programmes in computer science and Engineering, Electronics and communication Engineering and Electrical and the mentor institute for NIT Delhi. Currently it’s running at IAMR Campus, Narela. Very soon it will have its own campus which will located about 25km from Delhi City on NH 1 which connects Delhi to Attari. Expanding over on 51 acres of land in Narela sub city, New Delhi. The campus aims to create an environment that will entreat the spirit of innovation, technology and invention.

The NIT Delhi presenting courses are like B.Tech, M. tech and Ph.D. programs. For getting the admission in National Institute of Technology, Delhi, they take the admission on the National Level Entrance Exam Test like- JEE Main, GATE etc.
