NMIMS expanded its presence to South India by commencing operations in Bengaluru in 2008, followed by the launch of its Hyderabad campus in 2010.

Leveraging its extensive expertise, NMIMS develops Management Development Programs (MDPs) tailored for middle and senior management professionals. These programs follow a comprehensive KSA (Knowledge-Skills-Attributes) framework, incorporating advanced modules such as Business Analytics with sophisticated tools like SAS and decision-making simulations. NMIMS Hyderabad aims to bridge the gap between industry demands and the existing management education landscape in Hyderabad.

The Hyderabad campus is strategically located in Tarnaka, providing easy access to key business hubs and IT corridors such as Gachibowli, Hitech City, Madhapur, and Shamshabad Airport. The campus features a five-story, fully air-conditioned building equipped with modern IT infrastructure, blending comfort, aesthetic appeal, and academic functionality.

With a legacy spanning 41 years, NMIMS has grown into one of India’s top 10 business schools and a multidisciplinary university. It now operates eight campuses across Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Navi Mumbai, Dhule, and Chandigarh, comprising 17 constituent schools. Established in 1981 under the patronage of SVKM, NMIMS has benefited from SVKM’s commitment to modern education, serving over 40,000 students annually through 33 premier educational institutions. Acting on the recommendations of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, NMIMS received 'Deemed to be University' status in 2003, which was officially made permanent by the Government of India in 2007.
