The NMIMS Chandigarh campus was founded on October 12, 2009, by General (Retd.) S. F. Rodrigues, then Governor of Punjab, in partnership with the SVKM trust and university leadership. Initially offering undergraduate programs in Commerce and Law, the campus has since expanded to include engineering courses, reflecting its commitment to academic growth and diversity. The School of Commerce offers BBA and B.Com programs, while the School of Law provides integrated B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B. degrees. Additionally, the School of Technology Management and Engineering offers B.Tech. programs in Computer Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science).
