CMAT Exam will be conducted by NTA In 2020 so it can be expected that CMAT Exam pattern remain unchanged like previous pattern. The exam is planned on 28th January, 2020 and it is organised in two batches.
Official Mock test will release by NTA form the preparation of CMAT exam at official website of NTA (nta.ac.in). It will help the participants to make known with the screen, layout and navigation.

CMAT Exam Pattern in Details
Mode of Exam: Computer Based mode.
Medium of Exam: The medium should be English only.
Nature of Questions: Objective type (MCQs)
Marking Scheme: Students get 4 marks for each right answer and there will be negative marking also for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.
Number of Questions – Total 100 questions are there divided in 25 question per section.

Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation
CMAT Exam Pattern for QA/DI
For this section of CMAT Exam the participants must practice on their speed and accuracy. The important factor is calculation only when it comes to answering the questions in this section.
In this section questions comes only single not in the sets.
The integral part of section is Arithematic operations and modern maths.
Participants should have good efficiency in solving questions from topics like Time and Distance, Geometry, Numbers, Profit and Loss, Simple equations and Time and Work.
CMAT Exam Pattern for Logical Reasoning
In this section, the questions comes from general topics like Puzzles, Statements and Conclusions, Cause and effect, Assumptions and Conclusions and missing term in the figure.
Arrangement topics like linear, seating, sequencing and arranging with conditions were also asked.
CMAT Exam Pattern for Language Comprehension
In this section the commonly asked questions were Para-jumbles fill in the blanks, identification of word meaning by selecting correct synonym and antonym, idioms, sentence correction, identification of correct sentence, etc.
Reading comprehension is most important for this section so participants have to read newspaper and novels etc. to increase their reading habit and sharpen their verbal skills.
The 500-600 words long passages are not too difficult so there is no fixed rule on framing the questions in RC.
CMAT Exam Pattern for General Awareness
General knowledge questions divided into 3 sections i.e. Conventional, Current and Business & Economics.
For this section, the participants should be well known the latest current affairs; especially in the two sections were Business and Economics.
