•    National Institute of Technology, Puducherry was ranked between in 101-150th all over engineering college in India, by National Institute Ranking Framework in 2018. And it was ranked 133th position by Edu Rand in 2015.
•    50% seats reserved for candidates from Puducherry residential and left 50% seats for candidate from rest of the States.
•    This campus also provides the financial aid to the reserved students based on merit. To apply for scholarship students are required to clear the examination which is conducted by the University or Campus. Who deserve this aid they will be given with INR 1000 per month for the first three years of college. The scholarships are paid for 10 months of every year.
•    Here, the placement percentage gone up to 90% during the last batch offering an amount of 15+LPA which is recorded highest package. Another hand average package was offered up to 5LPA. Most of student placed in prestigious industries which belong to international or national level.

•    NIT has signed MOU’s with a number of prestigious organizations, offering training and placement opportunities to the students.    
•    NIT Puducherry provides hostel facilities also with the high quality hygienic of food; double occupy hygiene room and amenities for their own facilities like TV,  Refrigerator, Washing machine, Wi-Fi etc. And also includes a library, state of the art classrooms, computing facilities, sports etc.
